Physical description Edit

Edwin is a very large mutant almost entirely covered in little feathers (mostly sunset orange with a yellow underbelly, and flaming red tips where a human has body hair). His cheeks, neck, hands, and feet are bare, and his skin looks like old boot-leather, if the boots were faded blue. He has a prominent featherless dewlap, also blue and leathery. Edwin's grin is a gash that spreads nearly from ear to ear, and given his good humour, usually decorates his face.

His (blue) hands have three digits, and they all look like thumbs; Edwin has a firm grasp with them, but not a lot of finesse. To match, he has three toes on each (blue) foot, which all look like big toes. He has fully digigrade legs, with disproportionately powerful thighs. Edwin has a keelbone (and big muscles), giving him a distinctly pidgeon-chested appearance.

Overall he looks like a bit like a bodybuilder stuffed into a costume of a cross between an iguana and a parrot. This resemblance is heightened by his deep, squawking, twittering voice; he sounds suspiciously like a 600lb parakeet taught to talk.

History Edit

Edwin doesn't have a last name. Frank-George is the names of his feet: Frank is the one on the left, George is the one on the right. He introduces them by name, and chats with them. Edwin says he's really lucky to have good company all the time, since it's so dreadful being by yourself.

In company, Edwin is a sociable man who likes nothing more than to find a large group of people and twitter at them until their ears fall off from the grating quality of his voice. He also likes a bit of horseplay, which is a problem when you're half again as tall as everyone else. He's careful of little people and doesn't rough them up too much, unless someone's foolish enough to insult him... Edwin's big blind spot is kids - he can shrug off all the face-pulling and name calling in the world, and still spoil the kid rotten.

Edwin is the oldest of six kids, and the only drastic mutant. He helped his mum raise the others and run their tenet farm near Patriot City as the "man" of the house. His dad died when Edwin was seven - being the size of a normal adult (and even stronger!) by the time he was 10 definitely helped, but it also meant he was a bottomless pit for food. When his mother re-married, Edwin was unceremoniously ordered to make his way in the world to keep the family's food requirements down.

Patriot City was annexed by Carolignia Kingdom after Edwin left - he's uncomfortable about going back as he's likely to be quickly identified as a Patriot (He's certainly memorable). The farm his family work as tennants is Lane Homestead, on the shore of the Neponset River near the Neponset Reservoir, in the former city conservation land known as the Lane Property.
